20 Years of Service to Killarney Plastics Ltd

An East Kerry man with more that two decades of service to a Killarney firm was acknowledged for his dedication to the company at the weekend. Patrick Moynihan from Headford, who this year completed 20 years of service in Killarney Plastics was honoured by the company at the weekend when Michael Stack Managing Director and Tom Murphy Production Manager presented Patrick with a gold watch and voucher in appreciation of his years of service.

Patrick who is from a farming background attended Barraduff National School and Rathmore Secondary School and from there commenced his first job with Killarney Plastics in May 1991 at the age of 19. "Patrick has worked in various departments throughout the last 20 years and most recently is a member in the Tricel Environmental Solutions Department. He has always proved himself to be a valuable and adaptable employee. Both I and his colleagues offer our congratulations to Patrick and wish him many more years of service" said Tom Murphy Production Manager at Killarney Plastics.

A shocked Patrick was delighted to be recognised for his achievement "I am delighted and honoured that the company have acknowledged my time Killarney Plastics. I've enjoyed every minute of my time working here. Its a very welcoming and pleasant company to work for and over the years, I've made some lifelong friends. I hope to have many more years with the company," Patrick said.
